The Brief
Create a campaign for new prebiotic soda inspired by Mexican flavors. Position XOCHI as a bold alternative in a category crowded with overly polished wellness brands and traditional soda giants. Make the brand feel like a more exciting, relatable choice for a new generation of soda drinkers through personality, confidence, and cultural vibrancy.
The Execution
As an avid Poppi drinker, I understand the appeal of a "better for you" soda and a flashy, young brand. In a category popping off in the modern age (pun intended), it was important to lean into the all-natural Mexican flavors through ingredient photography, and capturing "natural" moments of people enjoying the soda in everyday life. Flash on, grain turned up, the retro-inspired photography style, collage illustration style, and conversational tone bring a feeling of safety and authenticity to this new soda brand in an emerging market.
