The Brief
L&O opened in 2018 in my hometown, Georgetown, TX, and I fell in love at first sight. They had a logo and interior design they loved, but no brand. I was tasked with fleshing out the brand and designing merchandise worthy of this inclusive and quirky neighborhood gem.
The Execution
I worked closely with the founders to build upon their original logo, “Just a Little Sweary” signs, which cover merchandise displaying swear words, interior design scheme, and brand values. Lark & Owl champions diversity, inclusion, community, good books, and conversation. I developed a consistent visual language to ensure that their values shine through wholesome copywriting and colorful characters.
